‘Sitting Pretty’ by Bears In Trees

Nearly a year after their last album release, South London based band Bears In Trees have released a new single. Much like their previous songs, one can hear the influences of The Front Bottoms and Modern Baseball in ‘Sitting Pretty’. The tune has a fun vibe that makes you want to dance around while singing about a song written about elements of sadness, happiness, and finding comfort that you and all your friends are all in the same situations.

‘Conversations’ by Far Caspian

Far Caspian is back, and with a brand new energy compared to their previous EP. ‘Conversations’ is a catchy dream-pop tune with smooth vocals delivered by lead singer, Joel Johnston. The track is the first taste of what their sophomore EP will be like, in which it’s been described as “enjoying your 20’s and trying to figure out the process that comes with it.” The multi-layered instrumentals and eighties influence is a song to add to your roadtrip playlist.

‘The Third Degree’ by Honeyblood

Honeyblood announced the release of third album, In Plain Sight, due on 24 May 2019. The lineup now only consists of musician Stina Tweeddale, and is the first release under her new record label deal with Marathon Artists. The album and new single announcement also included a music video for ‘The Third Degree’ (watch here). The music video follows along to the lyrics of the single, which is about seeing an ex in public and watching them hit on someone else, and telling yourself to just walk past it and don’t react. The song sings a positive message about moving on.
